FED: Australia s holiday road toll stands at 68

SYDNEY, Jan 1 AAP - A death in New South Wales and two deaths in Victoria overnight have
taken the national road toll for the Christmas-New Year holiday period to 68.

A 34-year-old man died when his utility left the road and rolled at Manilla, in northern
New South Wales, taking the state's road toll for the holiday period to 25 -- the worst of all
states.

Victorian police say a woman in her late 50s was killed when she was struck by a car in
Rowville, in Melbourne's outer east.
