New leaders set at PepsiCo's North American unit.(Supplier News)(Dawn Hudson and John Compton)

NEW YORK -- PepsiCo Inc. has reorganized its top management ranks, naming two executives to succeed Gary Rodkin as chief executive officer of the company's North American business.

The 52-year-old Rodkin, who has led the North American beverage and food business that PepsiCo formed in 2002 when it acquired Quaker Oats Co., announced last month that he would step down in June.

His duties will be split between president and chief executive officer of Pepsi-Cola North America Dawn Hudson, whose role will be expanded to include all beverages distributed through the company's network of bottlers, and former Frito-Lay North America vice chairman John Compton, who …
