Fed: Fighters in bombing missions, special forces continue - ADF
Defence chief PETER COSGROVE says all Australian fighters were airborne on bombingmissions overnight while special forces continued to operate deep inside Iraq.
General COSGROVE says all forces are safe and well.
He's told the Nine Network that Australian forces in Iraq won't be a pushover and specialforces are prepared for the long haul.
